For my mom

Date - Midnight between 7th and 8th March 2019

Place - Vile Parle, Mumbai

Reading Time - 1 minute read

While she is into her deep sleep, resting after week long hardship due to the injured back, I am staring outside a window of my admitted mother’s room number 504 of a hospital located at Vile Parle, Mumbai.

Mumbai and especially Ville Parle is a place where you will find peace among chaos and friends
among strangers. It has as many auto rickshaws as dense trees, and it has as many cars as shops.

The famous neighbors - Mithibai and Narsee Monjee Colleges, Nanavati Hospital, Pawan Hans
helicopter services, the Sanyas Ashrams temple, these are just a few of a big list of popular  places here. The famous and recently closed Parle-G factory is also located in this suburb. Its Alpha market is a dream place for shopping freak people, where people can get range of items from mobiles to electronics, from footwear to toiletries.

As I am looking outside the window, I see the night has slowed down pace of the vehicles and
flow of the traffic just like the injury slowed down the pace of my mother's life. However, view of the empty road lit up with street lights is mesmerizing. Mumbai looks more beautiful in the nights as if it carries some make up post evenings.

As I stare at the silent but peaceful streets, it implants seeds of hope that the morning will bring a fresh rays of energy and awaited wave of strength. There shall be smiles, there shall be laughter.
There shall be joy, there shall be fun. Tunes of belief and lyrics of relief creates a Music for heart to recite and cheer.

Wishing my mom a happy women's day and a lots of wishes for speedy recovery.

@Amit
